So, once you've constructed a gorgeous shiny new replica of the First Doctor's TARDIS console for upcoming BBC docudrama "An Adventure in Space and Time", obviously the next thing you want to do is show it off. The French Comic-Con has it first, from 4th to 7th July at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
Mark Gatiss will be there for a panel, which is apt as he wrote the docudrama script and showed off how to film Daleks on Westminster Bridge. Sounds like a very good opportunity to announce an extra spoiler or two (though it'd be hard to top the casting announcement that both Carole Ann Ford and William Russell have bit parts). Also, the convention is running clips from DW episodes he's acted in and written - perhaps they'll include his cameo as Gantok in "The Wedding of River Song". In non-Mark Gatiss-related coverage, there'll be a "Revenge of the Cybermen" screening - in French, naturally - and a gallery display.
Afterwards, the console goes to that repository of Doctor Who props, the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff, at least until the end of the summer.
