The Sun (the UKs favorite comic) have some claims about the Doctor Who finale today...
All three of the Doctors companions will return for the final episode, they will all join forces with the Doctor to take on the Master (John Simm). Note they have milked this line into a big story!

We have already been told Matt Smith will be in the final episode briefly, there are lots of rumours about CatherineTate being in the Finale. The Master has always been rumoured to re-appear since Last of the Time Lords. IMHO Rose Tyler (the clingy girlfriend) is doomed to re-appear eternally as long as Tennant is in Doctor Who, which means if there is ever a modern multiple doctors story, it is written in stone she will be clinging to it also!
We will see David Tennant regenerate into Matt Smith, series five will allegedly start seconds after the final special ends!
IMHO The Sun story is little more than speculation that is already about, and its not even clever speculation! However The Sun do have a track record for getting a lot like this right in the past :( I for one really hope they can be more original for the finale!

its doubtful the whoniverse will see much of him again, he is writing and directing his own movies now! - i agree with u though!
How the hell they will bring Master back as John Simm ? I mean, even if he regenerated smoehow without anybody knowing about it, or cheated death some other way (like he did in the old series) his face would be different.
Even though i think Simm was great as The Master, i really don't think it will happen.
The Master in final 2009 special hooray he Survives but What about The Meddling Monk they Rumour him to in The Specials.
its scifi, they can do anything! i assume he was in his ring (prob his version of a fob watch)

As long as it's not Martha, I'm happy. Every time they bring her back, they boot her off to a side story. Also, for some reason when Freema plays Martha, her voice is like nails on a chalkboard for me. Which is odd because she sounds fine in L&O:UK.
