Here is another of the last few left, the Doctor Who page from Saturday 5th of March 1970, of the Radio Times. You can see what was on before, after and around Doctor Who.
BBC1 starts off in the morning, but sadly a lot of the page is missing, so we move on to 12.45 when its an afternoon of sport with Grandstand.
Then at 5.15 its Doctor Who with part 6 of Doctor Who and The Silurians, more about it here.
Then at 5.40 its The Debbie Reynolds Show, followed at 6.05 by the News and Weather, and thats the lot for this page of BBC1.
BBC2 starts at 3.00pm with the Movie the Spoilers (one for River Song there) starring John Wayne, and close down at 4.25.
At 5.55 its Total Eclipse in Mexico, with a live total eclipse, would the BBC dream of a program with a live eclipse today? At 6.45 its political commentary with Westminster, followed by the News, Sport and Weather at 7.05.
At 7.20 its Gardeners World and then Tennis at 7.35 and thats the lot for that page!
