Forbidden Planet have announced that they are releasing special editions of classic Doctor Who novels, which include the First Doctor stories ‘The Daleks’ and ‘The Crusaders’, the Second Doctor stories ‘The Abominable Snowmen’ and ‘The Cybermen’, and the Third Doctor stories ‘The Auton Invasion’ and ‘The Cave Monsters’.

Each release includes an introduction from acclaimed Doctor Who writers, including Russell T Davies and Neil Gaiman. There will be an event to celebrate the release of these Doctor Who books at the London Megastore on Saturday 16th July 2011, starting at 1pm. Each of the books are available to pre-order from Forbidden Planet for £4.99.
