The Daily Star Newspaper are reporting that Chris Moyles, who recently quit his breakfast show on BBC Radio 1 is in talks over a possible Doctor Who role.The newspaper claims that appearing in the series has been his dream after spending 15 years presenting his radio breakfast show.
The source said: “Chris sees this as an opportunity to be taken seriously as an actor. Chris can’t wait to blow everyone away in the show. He has made a big decision to leave Radio 1 and he knows all eyes will be on him.”

When I first saw the title I misread it and thought he was going to be the Doctor haha.
