Doctor Who Spoilers and Speculation - Who's Gravestone?

In tonight's Doctor Who Series 7 Part B trailer we saw many huge events, huge monsters and huge explosions, however I have been taking a look at the smaller things and have noticed something rather interesting. Spoiler-phobes, beware... It's a Grave Situation.

Remember these wicked faced created that we saw way back in December? Well, after heavy speculation I'm almost certain they are within the finale of Doctor Who. Want to know how? I'll tell you...

We've nearly established which monster goes with which episode by several methods, including matching costumes, using leaked promotional photographs and just constantly re-watching trailers however using the last method on the recent trailer has revealed something very interesting.

(Click to see larger image) "..... .ONG"
The above image shows these three creatures stood and bent down over a grave, with a gravestone behind. If you zoom in and look more closely at the grave behind it shows the final three letters of the persons name, those letters are "ONG". What character do we know that ends in 'ONG' - River Song, who we know we will see once again in the finale, so it is safe to say - these are the creatures from the finale.

This also links in with the recent speculation that we would see the grave of a well known character, River Song.

Well, since we KNOW how River dies, this might not be accurate of course.

I know we've seen her die, I won't deny that but we do know time can be re-written, and that her life might change as it's not been established as a fixed point.

Well, this is consistent with the spoiler we got not too long ago that River's grave is seen in the finale.

Sounds like a red herring in the style of the Jenny chair to me!

Nah, they should just leave it. I love River storyline, but it's finished. It's beautiffuly complete with "Night and the Doctor" minisodes. So I hope they would give River some sort of closure and move on to another storylines.

I don't think those near-faceless gentlemen are in the finale, though I will give you credit for your reasons.

I believe these will be in the finale and I believe that these are something to do with the great intelligence due to the appearance maybe they finally found a human form. As for rivers grave it doesn't necessarily mean she has died they could be messing with his head saying he didn't save her, she could be in great danger and we know that the episode will be about the doctors name do I believe the last episode will be about him running away from his fears and losing his companions especially the ones he knows he has saved.

Is everyone forgetting that River dies in Forest of the Dead?

River said that she does not fear the Doctor's death or her own,
something far worse is in her future. I always thought this referred to her first appearance with David Tennant, as he did not know who she was. Their timelines have always been backward and in Angels in Manhattan she made reference to this when she said about being in love with a god who chooses the face of a boy and wanting to hide age and fragility from him to Amy.

I really hope they don't kill her off, I have enjoyed seeing the doctor commit to someone on a higher level than his companions and have someone who can give him a run for his money. Plus I want to see how Clara reacts when she finds out he is married and River's reaction when she finds out he didn't mention it.

Did you forget that for a time traveler like River and The Doctor, time is anything but linear?
