Obviously they can't name the Doctor, the show couldn't be called Doctor Who anymore if we know exactly who he is.

Don't be fooled, just because the episode is called the name of the doctor doesn't mean he name will be revealed and the secret may not even be about his name...the secret is most likely about why he's been running all these years.
It'll more than likely be about what the name 'doctor' means to the universe, the impact it has had etc

Interesting artwork. Smashed TARDIS windows...wonder what that could mean.

I do not think his name will be revealed to the audience but my guess is that this will be the episode where he tells River Song his name, an event that was referred to in the first story River was in set in a big library. That would mean this is probably the last story with River in it.

Michael Evers: That's an excellent guess! Yes, something like that would have to happen for continuity's sake.

To me, the title seems very much modelled on Umberto Eco's acclaimed book, "The Name of the Rose". Whether or not that means anything, I don't know.

I really want to know what is that behind him in the image. Looks like a woman running into the TARDIS?
