Please note that regardless of your online viewing method, it is delayed, so you'll probably find out via Twitter/Facebook/Chatbox up to a minute or two before it comes through.
- You can register at TARDIS Blue (free) and watch it there. It is one of the most reliable places to watch it.
- I've collected together a few online streaming sites and embeds. You can access this here.
- I've not yet added all of the streaming sites yet, however I've got the big ones IMHO.
- It says it on the front page, but I'll say it here. A LOT of free online sites put up tons of adverts that are a pain. Make sure you have Adblock installed, and look out for the close button (the X's) on any popups/adverts that may appear. Some sites are a real stinker.
- Use Hola Unblocker or Media Hint to access the iPlayer BBC 1 live stream.
- Please note, that these are not recommended due to privacy concerns. They work by routing all your traffic through their servers. Servers and bandwidth need to be paid for and the only thing they have from you is all your activity through their services. If you use them, install for stream and uninstall afterwards.

You guys are the best!
Agreed. I am sitting here with my cocoa and sonic screwdriver at 5:30am in New Zealand, abuzz with excitement, and I'm just really grateful that you guys make options like these to those of us on the other side of the world who wouldn't know where to look. You rock, thank you (and here's hoping the new Doctor is someone we can all be happy about! Inevitably, some of us will be disappointed, whichever way they go with it, but let's be nice to each other about it, yeah? A new Doctor is like a a new birth in the family, maybe you were hoping for a girl and got a boy, or vice versa, but you don't go hating the poor kid for turning out to be something other than what you initially wanted!)
Wow, awesome! Very happy with that. Thanks again guys. I hope they include it as a DVD extra with the 50th whenever they put that out :)
Thanks so much for providing the link. I don't have cable any more so I couldn't watch it on BBCAmerica. It was really nice to watch the event live. Thanks.
It's not free at Tardisblue. You need to pay $10 to become a sponsor in order to watch the 50th live. You can watch everything else for free. But for the 50th you MUST be a sponsor.
you guys are lifesavers! I live in Bulgaria where there won't be a simulcast since the only BBC we have is BBC News :( I'll have to download it later or stream it to watch it which is really annoying because I wanna support the show by watching it on TV... oh well at least I'll be able to live blog and live tweet this thing. I love you btw this is the only place where I could find an actual working way to stream BBC1 that isn't crap quality
