If you're not precisely thrilled about Karen Gillan's new "Selfie" show, there may yet be cause for hope; Deadline is reporting that she's due to star in Ti West's upcoming "In a Valley of Violence", which also will feature Ethan Hawke and John Travolta. So that's nice. Principle photography begins in June. Here's their write-up: "She’s the second repeat Blumhouse actor to fill out the cast of Valley, as Hawke starred in microbudget hits Sinister and The Purge for producer Jason Blum’s shingle. Gillan will play Ellen, the older sister to Farmiga’s character. Together they run a hotel in the town where Hawke’s drifter seeks vengeance for the death of his best friend."

That's right, we didn't put up the Selfie trailer, did we. Ah well. Can't be recommended in good conscience, but here it is anyway.
