Filming for the series 8 finale has continued and it has revealed that the Cybermen and UNIT will return for the finale, alongside Michelle Gomez playing the Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere. Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave) and Osgood (Ingrid Oliver) are also returning, and can be seen in the first picture.

Below is two videos of the filming:
EDIT: V2 - On set reports indicate that another scene being filmed involves Kate Stewart approaching the Cybermen, possibly claiming to be a representative of Earth and/or UNIT, and then throws down the Cyber head as proof of her "credentials." This is pure speculation from fans who witnessed the filming.

Was expecting something with the Master, just had to get my hopes up:/ I love how they're going back to using UNIT
