Retro TV, an American TV network dedicated to classic television, have announced a start date for classic Doctor Who to make its way onto their network.
Starting Monday, August 4th, Classic Doctor Who will be broadcast two episodes at a time on weeknights at 8pm ET/PT.
“We’re excited to set a fixed point in time for the arrival of classic episodes of Doctor Who on Retro TV,” said Matthew Golden, Luken’s Vice President of Production. “These meticulously restored episodes will bring the history of the Doctor to the U.S. in a way that viewers have never seen before.”
A two hour encore block will also air on Saturday evenings as part of the new Sci-Fi Saturday and will feature Doctor Who among it.
