Doctor Who writers speaking at this year's TV Drama Writers' Festival

Doctor Who's executive producer, Steven Moffat, along with fellow Who writers Chris Chibnall and Toby Whithouse, will be speaking at the TV Drama Writers' Festival taking place in the Leeds College of Music tomorrow and Thursday.  The  Festival, organised by the BBC Writers' Room, is being chaired by Emma Frost (The White Queen) and Jack Thorne (The Fades) on the theme of  Conflict.
Drama is conflict. Everyone knows that. But is conflict also at the heart of our industry, and at the heart of our daily working lives as writers?
Chris Chibnall will be speaking about the role of showrunners in the modern British drama series, as well as his hit crime drama, Broadchurch.    Toby Whithouse will speak on 'Finding a Character' alongside BBC head of Drama for England, Kate Harwood, whilst Steven Moffat will take part in a 'Face-to-Face' event.

Ticket applications have now closed, but more information is available at the TV Drama Writer's Festival page.
