The boxset will include new extras on top of the vanilla releases. The new extras include audio commentaries, behind the scenes features for all episodes, prequels and specials including Last Day of the Ponds, Doctor Who in the US, Doctor Who at Comic Con. The returning extras include Pond Life and other prequels from the episodes as well as the specials The Science of Doctor Who and The Companions.
No details have yet been released for the UK edition, however we can assume that it will feature the same extras and release date.

thanks for this. i wasn't sure if they were going to bother (usually it is out much sooner after the season's end), but now I know I can wait.
Every complete series set so far has come out in November. Only series 6 got it soon after with it being split.
