in the confidential, waiting for the corn to grow...

that explains the mid season gap.

Well, no, the entire season was not delayed just so they could get corn. That was just convenient.

Thank you so much for the stream, it’s of great quality and afforded me a second chance to see this episode properly as the first time I viewed it through Justin.TV which was pretty awful, but this stream is so much better.

I’m going to say something that might stop some clocks but I thought this was Karen Gillian’s best performance as Amy ever in Doctor Who. Karen was believable and Amy actually did something for a change. I thought the girl playing Melody was excellent and I wish she could have remained as either Melody or Riversong a lot longer.

Yet even given all of that, I’m tired of this trio, Riversong, Amy and Rory, when will it end already? It all seems pointless as Riversong starts her life all over again, and evidently she is going to try to kill the Doctor, again. Even if she shoots him while he’s in the space suit it’s not like he’s going to stay dead. What exactly is the point of all this? Now that we know Riversong’s origins, why doesn’t Moffat send Amy and Rory home so the Doctor can move on with different stories and new companion(s)?

Anyone else notice that it's not, in fact corn, but rather appears to be wheat....

Castanza, you're obviously an American.

Americans and Canadians use "corn" to mean maize. But in most of the English-speaking world, "corn" means any cereal grain.

Technically, maize is a cereal grain, but people don't usually think of it that way; "corn" usually means wheat or barley.
