Yesterday DWM confirmed Doctor Who Series 7 will not start until Autumn 2012, which I predicted months ago, and despite guarantees from Steven Moffat, many sites seem to think it will again be a split series, with part 2 in 2013! Moffat says otherwise here though.
Admittedly some episodes may leak into 2013 as the series may not be quite over by New Years Eve, but I for one do not see another split series. Our August suggestion here, of an Easter special seems to have been adopted Internet wide as almost fact, but this isn't official either, we live in hope though!
So to recap - the only official statement is series 7 is to start in Autumn 2012 as we predicted.

I wish they could get this program on an actual predictable schedule and time of broadcast. Seems to be pretty much guess the month, year, time.
I believe it will be a split series from now on. They make too much money off selling the split season DVD and blu-ray box sets.
